My interest in preventative health has led me to focus on cardiac rehabilitation (CR) which plays a key role in prevention of recurrent coronary events. While CR has been shown to improve mortality, unfortunately it is quite underutilized among women and this has become a special interest of mine. As a clinician scientist, I hope to investigate and find ways to improve participation, adherence as well as optimal training in women.
