Dr. Dougherty has a strong interest in international women's health. She works with medical students and residents helping them to understand the global context of their work as clinicians and educators. She currently has projects starting in Uganda and Tanzania. While at home, Dr. Dougherty focuses on minimally invasive gynecological surgery including robotic assisted approaches.
