Area of Interest

Orthopaedic Traumatology, including fractures of the pelvis and both the lower and upper extremities- especially complex periarticular fractures (fractures involving the joints), as well as the treatment of complicated problems after orthopaedic trauma. Dr. Bartlett is the only surgeon in Vermont who has special expertise in the treatment of fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, taking in referrals not just throughout the state, but also from New Hampshire and New York. His practice also serves as a referral site for patients requiring complex reconstructive procedures such as osteotomies, Ilizarov methods, and other techniques to treat fracture nonunions, limb deformities, and posttraumatic arthritis.
